Saving money is a no brainer

If you are a slug who is trying to keep hold of your lettuce, a little belt tightening may be in order. Mr. Slug would like to issue a word of caution - tightening your belt too tight can lead to a bit of light headedness, thus leading to a series of poor decisions. This dangerous sequence of events may lead to uneccessary purchases of things like fan belts and wiper blades which are the wrong size and completely useless since Mr. Slug has abandoned his car for a steel sliding plate, due to the high cost of fossil fuel. So, with that, my dear friends, I deliver to you the honorable Mr. Slug's word of advice for today: "Take everything down a notch and you might find yourself breathing a little easier." I can hear the sound of your exhale already!

These are wise, wise words. Also, 'guish' is a little bit of poetry.

Will check my belt immediately... the belt on Mr Slug in the picture doesn't look comfortable at all... oh dear, hope it doesn't cause any slug indigestion requiring slug ant-acid liquid...

Isn't that the truth! "Take it down a notch." Very clever, Mrs. Slug.

I beleive you are a wise, wise slug.
To "guish" or not to "guish"....that is not the question. To boldly belt a belly that has not been belted before....your acknowledgement of "the little bit of poetry known as 'guish".... is truly remarkable, indelible as the mark left upon the 'guished belly itself! Thank you, Sir for your kind and fitting comment.

OWEN:
The ant-acid liquid is useful in keeping away those pesky carpenter ants who are always trying to talk Mr. Slug into remodeling his kitchen cabinets. Good thing you have checked you belt, we should all be reminded to check our belly belt often! If the ant-acid is taken correctly, the belt may need further adjustment so it will not slide off the tail and end up on another slug's snout. Thank you, Sir, for an always fabulous comment.

MARGARET:
I was inspired by that famous television chef who likes to "Take it up a notch." To your comment I will merely reply, "Bam! Now that's got some flavor!!" Thank You, dear and thoughtful Margaret, always good to share some tea with you!

AKO SI C:
I find myself visualising whirled peas, commanding my tail to relax and enjoy the moment. Hats off to you! So good to see you here! Yay!

ROXANA:
That long wide Indian style skirt truly makes you a preferred customer, who, incidentally, is always right, so do not worry about making decisions, slide through your day with plenty of healthy amounts of goo and verve! Like Ren says to comic favorite Stimpy, "You are one of thee good ones!"

Thanks again to everyone who comes to visit Slug's Rest, it is always a pleasure to see you slide in!

I think I will need to lose a little more weight first.
